Electromagnetic waves (NFC radio waves) emitted from contactless IC card readers is caught by the PEICA® (card) side and converted into a weak current, and the ultra-thin mini LED light bulb built into the PEICA® (card) glows, causing the PEICA® (card) to emit light.
The LED is illuminated using radio waves without using batteries. The lifespan of the LED is approximately 40,000 hours, so you can use it for a long time without having to replace it.
You can visually recognize it by shining when using the IC card. Therefore, it can support the use of IC cards by people with hearing impairments and in noisy places.
Since it uses 13.56MHz radio waves, which is the standard for short-range wireless communication, it can be used not only in Japan but also in many situations around the world.
