Thumper (サンパー) is a cartoon rabbit from Disney's 1942 film Bambi, named for his habit of thumping his left foot. Recognized by his gray fur, white chest, and distinctive buck teeth, he is energetic, cheerful, playful, and mischievous. As Bambi's close childhood friend, Thumper helps him learn about life in the forest and often encourages him to be more confident and adventurous. He is also known for his many sisters and his enthusiastic, expressive personality.
