Tarepanda
Tarepanda (たれぱんだ) is a panda-like character created by Hikaru Suemasa for San-X, first appearing in 1998. Its name comes from the Japanese concept of tare, meaning to droop or slump. Characterized by its soft, flat black-and-white body and small, expressionless eyes, Tarepanda is famously lethargic and relaxed, spending much of its time lying around and moving by rolling at just 2.75 meters per hour. Its favorite food is suama, a traditional Japanese confection, and its laid-back, droopy demeanor gives it its distinctive charm.
