Sailor Venus (セーラーヴィーナス), created by Naoko Takeuchi in 1991, is one of the Sailor Guardians and the reincarnation of the Guardian of Love and Beauty. Minako Aino (愛野 美奈子) has long blonde hair, typically adorned with her signature red bow. Outgoing, cheerful, and energetic, she originally fought crime as the vigilante Sailor V before joining the other Guardians as Sailor Venus. She is devoted to protecting Princess Serenity and dreams of becoming a famous idol, while wielding powerful attacks associated with love, beauty, and light.
