Sailor Jupiter (セーラージュピター) is the Sailor Guardian identity of Makoto Kino (木野まこと), a character created by Naoko Takeuchi for Sailor Moon in 1991. Tall and athletic, she has chestnut-brown hair worn in a ponytail and often wears rose-shaped earrings. An orphaned tomboy with superhuman strength, she commands lightning and plant-based powers. Gentle, nurturing, and fiercely loyal, Makoto protects Usagi and fights alongside the other Sailor Guardians for peace.
