Rapunzel (ラプンツェル) is an 18-year-old princess created by Disney for the 2010 animated film Tangled, inspired by the Brothers Grimm fairy tale of the same name. She has bright green eyes, freckles, and 70 feet of magical golden hair with powerful healing abilities. Spirited, creative, optimistic, and somewhat naive due to her sheltered upbringing, she leaves her isolated tower with the thief Eugene Fitzherbert ("Flynn Rider") to pursue her dream of seeing the kingdom's floating lanterns. Skilled in painting, cooking, and frying-pan combat, Rapunzel has an enthusiastic and expressive personality. She forms close bonds with her chameleon Pascal, horse Maximus, and Eugene.
