My Melody (マイメロディ) is a kind, honest, and good-natured white rabbit created by Sanrio designer Yōko Matsumoto in 1975. Originally inspired by Little Red Riding Hood, she wears a hood made by her grandmother, most commonly depicted in pink. She lives in Mariland, where she enjoys baking almond pound cake and helping her friends, including her best friend Flat the mouse. My Melody is known for her gentle personality, polite manner, and caring nature.
