Moomintroll (ムーミントロール) was created in 1945 by Finnish-Swedish author and illustrator Tove Jansson. A white, hippopotamus-like troll, he is gentle, curious, adventurous, and open-minded. Living in Moominvalley with his family and friends, including Snufkin, he enjoys exploring the world and often finds himself drawn into unexpected adventures. He is compassionate and resourceful, frequently helping those around him while learning from his experiences.
