Lotso (ロッツォ), short for Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear, is a fictional strawberry-scented pink plush teddy bear from Pixar's animated film Toy Story 3. Despite his soft appearance and cheerful exterior, he is a bitter, charismatic, and manipulative leader who secretly runs Sunnyside Daycare as a harsh authoritarian regime. Originally a beloved toy belonging to a girl named Daisy, Lotso's personality changed after he was lost and later discovered that Daisy had replaced him. Consumed by feelings of abandonment, he came to believe that children eventually discard their toys and imposed strict control over Sunnyside. Using his friendly demeanor, folksy Southern accent, and deceptive kindness, Lotso commands a group of loyal toys and works to prevent anyone from challenging his authority.
