Kogepan (こげぱん) is a charming San-X character who is a burnt red bean bread bun. After accidentally falling into the oven's fire, he became bitter and despondent about his fate. He often wallows in self-pity, gets "drunk" on milk, and envies the perfectly baked, beautiful pastries around him.
