Fear (ビビリ, Bibiri) is one of Riley's core emotions in Inside Out. A tall, slender purple figure with a single strand of hair, a houndstooth vest, and a bow tie, Fear is responsible for keeping Riley safe from potential threats. Nervous, cautious, and perpetually alert, he constantly evaluates risks, imagines worst-case scenarios, and warns the other emotions about possible dangers. Although his anxiety can sometimes be excessive, his vigilance plays an important role in protecting Riley's well-being.
