Eeyore (イーヨー) is a gloomy yet loyal stuffed donkey created by A. A. Milne in 1926. Named after a child's pronunciation of a donkey's bray, Eeyore is known for his blue-gray appearance, pessimistic outlook, and tail that is attached with a pin and frequently goes missing. Though often melancholy and resigned, he deeply values his friendships with Winnie-the-Pooh and the other residents of the Hundred Acre Wood, who care for him despite his constant gloom.
