Chip (チップ) is an anthropomorphic chipmunk created by Disney who debuted in 1943. Recognizable by his black nose, neatly groomed appearance, and centered front teeth, Chip is the more logical and level-headed half of the chipmunk duo. Intelligent, resourceful, and strategic, he often devises plans to gather food, overcome obstacles, and outsmart adversaries such as Donald Duck. His sensible nature frequently contrasts with the carefree behavior of his best friend and partner, Dale.
