Bad Badtz-maru

Badtz-Maru (バッドばつ丸) is a penguin with spiky hair from Sanrio. In Japanese, "Badtz" means the cross "X" signifying a wrong answer while "Maru" means circle "O" and signifies a correct answer. Thus, his name figuratively means "wrong-correct" which is represented by "XO".
